Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded the ARIS Architect to the version 9.8.7 on one server and ARIS Business Publisher on another server.
Now, my problem is that I can't add a publisher server on ARIS Administration (see attachment).
Any help on how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any enhacement in ARIS Connect to do this?
In ARIS 7.2 version it was very difficult and not very efficient cause every time you refresh de data base, url aren´t usefull any more.
We regularly need to create links to process models from within intranet pages. Copy the GUID information from the address bar and then to insert the GUID number into a standard link.
Considering that we are about to implement the upgrade to Connect we are planning to use JAM in order to provide users an easy way to get to Process models in ARIS by clicking an url that takes them to the model in ARIS.
Please, if anyone have done this, I would really apreciatte your considerations / help.

I have two questions about ARIS Publisher.
Firstly, I want to publish our database as an automated task. Is it possible with a scheduled ARIS report or macro? Or a batch file has to be written?
Secondly, I created some reports to be used in Publisher. When i tried to apply a report for two functions at the same time, i realized that i couldn't select two objects together (multiple selection). Is there any way to run a report for two or more objects or models at the same time in Publisher?

does someone has the list and descriptions of the reason codes for the event LOGIN_FAILED that can be extracted from the "Export user statistics" in ARIS Connect User Management administration ?
Examples : I got reason codes [10] or [27] in the .csv extract but there is no meaningful description visible in the extract.

I am a new user and just got the application upgraded to ARIS Architect 9.8 SR 7.
Requirement : We are very interested in adding an attribute which enables attaching images(from the local system) to process steps.
In SR 7 we found that the attribute Davidoff > documentation enables us to do the same.
1) Is this the right attribute for uploading images ? Are there other attributes? We found that this is available only from SR7 and could not find others though.
2) Currently we can see these 3 options for upload : ".doc" , ".docx" , "All files" for this attribute. We are using "All files" option to select and upload images using this attribute. Is there any way to remove the options doc and docx ?.We wanted to restrict all designers from seeing doc and docx thus enabling everyone to see only the option to add images to a process step (and not a word document or other files).
3) Is there a possibility to retrieve and display this attribute in a report possibly by displaying an icon to indicate that there is an image attached to the respective process steps ?.

I'm trying to capture external events in ARCM through Universal Messaging.
I have an already installed version of ARCM 9.8.5.0.1091879 (rba). I installed Universal Messaging 9.12 on the same server and tried to follow section 7.7 from the ARCM Installation Manual, applying the specified "reconfigure arcm_m" commands.
However, I was unable to discover the correct values for the following configuration items from the UM documentation:
Without the correct values, ARCM won't start (ACC shows "failed") and I end up with the following lines in the log file:

I need to replace the current "Change Request" process with a more complex process. I have done the development and tested the process.
Now, I need to configure the icons in the main toolbar in ARIS Connect as follow:
1- Linking the small lamp with the new governance process.
2- Removing the link which allows starting governance processes.
Any idea?

I am creating a health care BPM and I wanted to know how you can create a view in ARIS where the Process hierarchy and diagram will be adjacent. Right now if I drill down in my folder structure and go to a certain Process model, it opens up a new window within ARIS.

beim Installieren des Ecudation Packetes kommt es bei mir mit Win 8.1 zu Problemen. Die Software wird zwar installiert, jedoch kann ich den LocalServer nicht eingeben. Was muss ich denn für die Servereinstellungen eingeben? Oder sollte automatisch der LOCAL erfasst sein? Es geht um Aris Business Architect/Designer.

I installed ARIS 9.6 designer server on windows 2012 r2 server with MS SQL DB. But the installation failed with unexpected error.
In the umc.log and a few other logs under "work" directory, it shows error message:

Hello,
We are using Aris Connect and received the Prime for externals DB. Unfortunately the Assets cannot be accessed because ether the Links are simply not available or the link leads to the Labcase site together with an error message that says the file doesn`t exist.
The Prime filter is applied correctly on the DB.
Is there something going wrong or are the files really not available ?
The How to navigate Manual show how to call up the assets, therefore I am curious how to get them.

On investigation, I find that almost all license privileges have disappeared. If I try to add license privileges (I'm in Connect administration), I get the following "error assigning privileges.An error occurred in the Infrstructure."
I understand this could be associated with re-indexing elasticsearch. Can anyone help?
